Charo & Danid

I remember being in the office that morning, busy with loads of things, and getting a call from Charo. Normally I’m the one who calls her, so I said to myself, this has to be important, and it really was… Charo & Dani were getting married!!!!!

I was so excited when she told me not only that they had decided to get married, but that she couldn’t imagine anyone but us organizing their wedding. We met for breakfast at my favorite place in Nerja and there we began to create and imagine what the day would be like.

Charo was not just one more bride, none of our brides are, but we’ve been friends since we were little, yes, since primary school… And we have lived thousands of adventures together. So this wedding was very special for me.

After months of brainstorming, we decided on the color palette, the table centerpieces, and her bouquet,… We imagined over and over again how everything would look like.
It was a religious wedding where for the first time for us, the couple entered together, holding hands, which we thought was a great idea, because that’s what rules are there for, to break them, you must never forget that it’s your wedding, your day. There were many little things in which they were transgressors such as not having a top table shared with the family, they were just the two of them and the little Homer (their dog). Charo is a professional makeup artist more than consecrated, she was the one who did her own makeup for the day. And she couldn’t have looked more beautiful!!!! There were speeches, there were tears of emotion, but above all, there were a lot of complicities, a lot of love, and a lot of laughter. That was the wedding they wanted, and that was the wedding they had.
